song of the month

What is "Song of the Month"?

Well, it's an idea that came to me while updating this site on 28 June 1999. Basically, I will put up an SNZ song each month for everyone to dissect. Search for anything and everything on the Internet that you can find that may pertain to the "Song of the Month". I will show a few examples as I find them. I will include these *searches* in the "yet to be created" trivia-ish page within each SNZ album page.

I will accept contributions from all you SNZ fans out there. Remember to be creative! [Note: The "Song of the Month" has been changed from "Twilight" to "Hell" as a tribute to Tom]

"Hell"

People listen attentively
I mean about future calamity
I used to think the idea was obsolete
Until I heard the old man stomping his feet.
This is a place where eternally
Fire is applied to the body,
Teeth are extruded and bones are ground,
And baked into cakes which are passed around.
In the afterlife,
You could be headed for the serious strife.
Now you make the scene all day
But tomorrow there'll be Hell to pay.
Beauty, talent, fame, money, refinement, job skill and brain
And all the things you try to hide
Will be revealed on the other side.
Now the D and the A and the M and the N
And the A and the T and the I-O-N
Loose your face
Loose your name
And get fitted for a suit of flames.

"..And get fitted for a suit of flames."

In the episode of "the Simpsons" when you find out who shot Mr. Burns, Chief Wiggum has a dream like one from Twin Peaks--Lisa stands there with a flaming playing card and says to him (speaking backwards) "this suit burns better". Another connection ==> "Simpsons" animators worked on the video for "Ghost of Stephen Foster".
Hell Date: before 12th century
(2) : the nether realm of the devil and the demons in which the damned suffer everlasting punishment [WWWebster Dictionary]
